A closer look

Three ways we get called in.

A speaker at a lectern lit against a deep purple stage wash
A seated conference audience applauding a session
Delegates talking in groups at a ballroom reception
Events & Conferences

The room, as it happened.

Keynotes, panels, receptions, and the moments between them, covered the way a photojournalist covers a story. Speakers on stage, delegates in the room, and the handshakes your team will actually want to use afterwards.

How we work

From the shot list to the gallery.

Phase 01
Brief & shot list

We define what the photographs need to accomplish before the shoot, then build a shot list covering the people, spaces, and specific frames we need to capture.

Phase 02
Shoot day

We arrive early and work around your schedule. If video is also being captured, the same crew covers both.

Phase 03
Selects & grading

We cull the images worth keeping and grade the set in Lightroom, so a portrait shot in a boardroom and one shot against a backdrop still look like they belong together.

Phase 04
Delivery

Web-ready JPEGs at 2048 pixels on the long edge, plus the full-resolution files when you need to print. Delivered as a gallery your team can download from directly.

Working with Zach and his team at Capital Arts to capture our 2026 Corporate Kickoff was a great decision. Zach was responsive, professional, and detail-oriented. The finished videos and photos were high quality, and the ease with which the AV production was managed made our internal team's job much easier.

Common Questions

Before the shoot

It depends on the length and type of shoot. Events typically deliver 30-50 edited photos per hour, while headshot sessions come back as a smaller, carefully selected set of retouched portraits. The final number depends on the scope and what you need.

We typically deliver a small photoset within 24 hours following the event for use on socials, with the full gallery delivered within 7 business days. If you need a handful of photos on the same day, during, or right after the event, let us know before the shoot and we can accommodate.

Yes, a lot of our event work runs this way. The same crew covers both, so you are not coordinating two companies in one room, and the stills and the film come back from the one booking.

Normally no. What you get are the finished, graded photographs, which is what the raw files exist to produce. If your team needs the originals, let us know and we can arrange for them to be included in the deliverables.

Wherever your people already are. We bring the backdrop and the lighting and set up in a boardroom, a lobby, or a corner of the office, which is usually faster than moving a whole team across town. If you would rather shoot against your own space than a backdrop, we can do that too.
